Peters Caramel Loaf is ready to use solid, but soft buttery caramel that is ideal for apple dips, turtles, and gooey centers.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
Directions:  Melting caramel loaf in microwave: Place caramel in a microwave safe dish. Cook on high for one minute and then stir. Cook on 50% power for one minute and stir again. Repeat steps until thoroughly melted.
To thicken: Add 1/2 - 1 ounce confectioners' sugar to one pound of caramel.
To Soften: Add 1/2 - 1 tsp. evaporated milk to one pound of caramel
